Ministerial decision to assign Professor Mohamed Abdel Badie to manage the work and tasks of the head of the Egyptian, Greek and Roman Antiquities Sector

- Dr. Ayman Ashmawy has been assigned the position of Advisor to the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities for Egyptian Antiquities Affairs
Mr. Sherif Fathy, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, issued a ministerial decision assigning Mr. Mohamed Abdel Badie, who was holding the position of Head of the Central Administration of Upper Egypt Antiquities, to manage the work and duties of the Head of the Egyptian, Greek and Roman Antiquities Sector at the Supreme Council of Antiquities for a period of one year or until this position is filled in the legally prescribed manner, whichever is closer, succeeding Dr. Ayman Ashmawy, who was assigned the position of Advisor to the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities for Egyptian Antiquities Affairs.
In a related context, Dr. Mohamed Ismail Khaled, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, issued a decision assigning Dr. Ayman Ashmawy to the position of Advisor to the Secretary-General for Egyptian Antiquities Affairs at the Supreme Council of Antiquities.
It is noteworthy that Professor Mohamed Abdel Badie joined the Supreme Council of Antiquities since his graduation from the Faculty of Archaeology, Cairo University in 1992, where he held several positions in several archaeological sites affiliated with the Council until he assumed the management of the Permanent Committee for Egyptian Antiquities in 2014, then held the position of Head of the Central Administration for Upper Egypt Antiquities since 2017 until he was assigned to manage the work and tasks of the Head of the Egyptian Antiquities Sector. It is noteworthy that Dr. Ayman Ashmawy held the position of Head of the Egyptian, Greek and Roman Antiquities Sector at the Supreme Council of Antiquities since 2017, and he holds a master's degree and a doctorate from Cairo University, and began his career in the ministry in the eastern Delta region, where he held several leadership positions, including Director General of Archaeological Excavations at the ministry, then Head of the Central Administration for Lower Egypt.
