The Saudi Stock Exchange main index closed today up 8.94 points to close at 12062.09 points, with trades worth 7.2 billion Saudi riyals.
The volume of traded shares - according to the Saudi Press Agency's daily economic bulletin for the Saudi Stock Exchange - amounted to 1 million and 247 shares, in which the shares of 52 companies recorded an increase in their value, while the shares of 178 companies closed down.
The shares of Al Baha, Al Zamil Industrial, Maaden, Red Sea, and Caterion companies were the most rising, while the shares of Lijam Sports, Riyadh Cement, Arab Mills, Raydan, and Al Ittihad companies were the most declining in trading, as the rates of increase and decrease ranged between 8.33% and 6.31%.
While the shares of Al Baha, Fourth Mills, Shams, Anaam Holding, and Exports companies were the most active in terms of quantity, while the shares of Fourth Mills, Al Rajhi, Alinma, Al Ahli, and Maaden were the most active in terms of value.
The Saudi Parallel Stock Index (Nomu) closed today down 179.60 points to close at 26623.10 points, with trades worth 54 million Saudi riyals, and the number of traded shares reached 4 million shares.
