On the corporate front, shares of Thales were rising approximately 1.1% in the index, following the completion of its acquisition of Cobham Aerospace Communications, marking a significant move for the French electronic defense company. Conversely, ArcelorMittal, Unibail Rodamco, Alstom, WordLine, and Teleperformance SE emerged as the major decliners, with losses ranging from 1% to 2%.
