Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has witnessed the inauguration of Cleopatra Sharm Aquarium, the latest hotels owned by Cleopatra Group, in Sharm El Sheikh, according to an official statement on November 1st.

Commenting on the opening of Cleopatra Sharm Aquarium, the CEO of Cleopatra Group said that the group’s management targets occupancy rates at the hotel of 80% for foreign tourism and 20% for Egyptian arrivals.

Spanning on an area of around 40,000 square meters (sqm), the hotel features 600 rooms and has 800 workers to serve all amenities, the CEO added.

Designed in collaboration with Italian and German companies, the hotel is eco-friendly and has special features.

As part of his tour in Sharm El-Sheikh, Madbouly also checked other hotel projects, including Rixos Villa, Tonino Lamborghini Hotel, and Rixos Hotel.

This move comes within the framework of increasing the capacity of hotels in Sharm El Sheikh ahead of the launch of the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27), as well as to accommodate tourist arrivals over the coming period.
