Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.49%

Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.49%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM), which rose 1.15% or 9.0 points to trade at 793.0 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) added 0.97% or 11.0 points to end at 1146.0 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was up 0.51% or 0.55 points to 108.75 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 3.80% or 11.4 points to trade at 288.5 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 3.75% or 24.0 points to end at 615.6 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 3.78% or 93.0 points to 2367.0.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 57 and 13 ended unchanged.

Shares in DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) rose to all time highs; up 0.97% or 11.0 to 1146.0.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 3.12% or 1.85 to $61.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.61% or 1.62 to hit $63.76 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.67% or 29.75 to trade at $1807.15 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.21% to 6.1229, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4364.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 90.148.
